WASHINGTON (Wednesday, March 21, 2018) — U.S. Rep. Luke Messer (IN-06) issued the following statement tonight after the House passed its ‘Right to Try’ legislation, which he co-sponsored, that allows terminally ill patients access to experimental medication.
“The House took a major step forward today to give those with terminal illnesses a chance to try potentially life-saving medicines,” Messer said. “President Trump called on Congress to pass ‘Right to Try’ and I was proud to co-sponsor this important legislation. I urge the Senate to immediately pass this bill so Hoosiers with life-threatening illnesses have every opportunity to find treatment.”
